A couple of modelmaking projects
The first, a replica of a 1947 George Nelson desk clock. Model was planned and executed only using a photo of the item. Made from polystyrene, brass, acrylic, steel, wood, and a clock movement. With apologies to the Vitra Design Museum.
The second, a gigantic retractable I.D. clip (9x enlargement). The original is at the lower part of the photograph, with a pen for scale. Made from urethane and polystyrene foams, acrylic rod, elastic cord, and laminated paperboard.
