WiSense
This is a new way to for cities to organize meter parking, using WiFi and RFID-tagged drivers licenses.
Prototype created using a Phidget RFID reader, two Arduinos, a LCD117 Serial LCD Board, NADA, and Flash/Actionscript 2.0.

A polypropylene folding chair, currently in development with Jenny Wu. Functionally inspired by pop-open cardboard storage boxes who gain rigidity through folding - this too is cut from a single sheet of extruded PP sheet, which quickly folds together through beveled live hinges and slots.

A series of objects realized through alternate uses of porcelain slip. Pendant lamp above: liquid porcelain dripped over inflated balloon, which is then popped. Other methods include absorption; soaking; dip coating; etc. More images to follow!lightcurrents
