Polly (Ver. 0.5)
A cleverly-codenamed polypropylene folding chair which I'm developing with Jenny Wu. Inspired by pop-open office boxes that gain rigidity through folding, this too is cut from a single sheet and holds itself together through angled grooves and cutouts. As it is made entirely from a single sheet of extruded PP, it is completely recyclable and it's manufacture requires a fraction of the energy a traditional aluminum folding chair requires.
